Tried sketching on ipad again. Nowhere close to useful, but that's a car I would build if given the chance.

Quite a few people have mentioned that the Surface Pro is great for a sketching tablet-thing. It's got an actual pen input, similar to a Cintiq.

Yeah, would have bought that instead, if not for circumstance. I'm hoping that things here work out and Motion Computing wants to work with me. I've used their old tablet for a long time, and they're still better than everyone else.

Best tablets ever made. I bought mine way late (2007). I'm still running XPSP2 and cs2 on it. Wacom screen and stylus. No one has yet made a bigger screen with Wacom tech. Nobody but designers knew what to do with them, so you can find them on eBay for nothing these days.
They've got new stuff in the works that will be really good.
